During her most recent royal engagement, Princess Kate made a lasting impact on the fashion experts.

Following in the late monarch’s footsteps, the Princess of Wales gave British designer Patrick McDowell the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design during a British Fashion Council event in London.

Princess Catherine captivated the prize recipient and other designers with her enthusiastic participation at the ceremony while wearing a stylish pantsuit.

Patrick said in an interview with People that it was his “dream” to be given an award by the future Queen, who is a fashion star and trailblazer in the royal family.

He stated, “To see her in person and see her genuine interest and real love of fashion and crucially the people making the clothes which is a love I share, was so special.”

“She was so interested, she spent so much time meeting each of the team,” Patrick said, lavishing the Princess of Wales with praise.

According to the well-known British designer, Kate is a “kind” person whose sincere concern is essential to the promotion of British fashion internationally.
