Prince William’s affection for Harry fetches £10,000 amid conflict.

Prince William adores his younger brother, lavishing Prince Harry with hugs and kisses at every chance.

A heartfelt handwritten letter from Diana, Princess of Wales, sold for an incredible £10,000 at auction, over ten times its initial estimate.

The personal two-page message, written on Kensington Palace stationery in September 1984, provides a look into royal family life shortly after the birth of Prince Harry.

It was addressed to Violet Collison, also known as “Collie,” Diana’s parents’ housekeeper at the Sandringham Estate.

The letter, which was initially estimated to cost £1,200, sold for a record-breaking sum at Sworders Fine Art Auctioneers, illustrating the continued fascination with Diana’s life and legacy.

In the letter, Diana raved over Prince William’s love for his baby sibling, writing, “William adores his little brother and spends the entire time pouring an endless supply of hugs and kisses over Harry.”

With her trademark humor, she added, “It’s wonderful to watch, if we’re allowed near!”

The heartfelt letter was written on crowned “D” Kensington Palace notepaper to express gratitude for Harry’s first Christmas present.

Collectors and royal fans alike praised this incredible piece of history, which highlighted Diana’s unique ability to connect with people via her emotional comments.
