Kimberley Strassel is a member of the editorial board for The Wall Road Journal. She writes editorials, in addition to the weekly Potomac Watch political column, from her base in Alaska.

Ms. Strassel joined Dow Jones & Co. in 1994, working within the information division of The Wall Road Journal Europe in Brussels, after which in London. She moved to New York in 1999 and shortly thereafter joined the Journal’s editorial web page, working as a options editor, after which as an editorial author. She assumed her present place in 2005.

Ms. Strassel, a 2014 Bradley Prize recipient, is a daily contributor to Sunday political reveals, together with CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Fox Information Sunday, and NBC’s “Meet the Press.” She is the writer of “The Intimidation Sport: How the Left Is Silencing Free Speech,” which chronicles latest assaults on conservative nonprofits, companies and donors.

An Oregon native, Ms. Strassel earned a bachelor’s diploma in Public Coverage and Worldwide Affairs from Princeton College. She lives in Alaska along with her three kids.
