The multi-year marketing campaign to undermine Hasidic schooling in New York state continued its ahead march this week. On Tuesday, two days after the New York Instances printed a prolonged “investigation” into the state’s yeshivas, the Board of Regents unanimously authorized a brand new raft of curriculum mandates. The motivation, the board claims, is to guard youngsters who’re “not receiving a top quality schooling.”
Absent from these deliberations, nonetheless, has been an essential voice—dad and mom with youngsters in yeshiva.
