America is at a crossroads. Politically talking, so am I.
The Republican Celebration I joined a long time in the past is unrecognizable right this moment. It has favored conspiracy theories over fact, anger over hope, and division over drawback fixing. As I serve my closing months in Congress, I discover I’m left carrying the torch for the values and rules of a celebration that’s been overtaken by partisan politicos on the lookout for the limelight and clinging to their sense of energy as an alternative of upholding their oaths of workplace. I’m holding out hope for what I do know the Republican Celebration has been and could be, however day by day that passes, I’m feeling extra politically homeless. And I’m not alone.
