For his wife Meghan Markle’s 44th birthday, Prince Harry is going to follow the royal playbook.
According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, the 40-year-old Duke of Sussex is getting ready to make the Duchess’s impending birthday on August 4 “extra special.”
The former royal adviser, who served under Harry’s father, King Charles, from 2004 to 2011, told Heart Bingo via Express that “the Royal Family are famous for quirky fun presents… the sort of things money can’t buy.”
Meghan’s recent insistence on being called by her royal titles, such as “Sussex” and “Her Royal Highness,” is the subject of the joke.
Birthdays are a very significant event for the Sussexes, especially their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Meghan has already shared heartfelt remembrances of Lilibet and Archie, who turned four and six in May and June, respectively.
Specifically, the “baby momma dance” video she shared to celebrate Lilibet’s fourth birthday went viral.
According to Harrold, Harry and Meghan would use a public statement to “make people aware it’s her birthday.”
The Royal Family isn’t anticipated to commemorate the momentous occasion with their customary birthday photo, which is only used for working royals.
However, it is noteworthy that in September, the exiled prince did receive a birthday message from his estranged family.
