Man drives into useless bobcat strung up on N.Y. overpass, shattering windshield

An upstate New York man was shocked when he plowed into one thing hanging from an overpass, smashing his windshield.

At first Andrew Noble frightened he may need hit an unleashed canine or perhaps a baby. The very last thing he anticipated to see was a useless bobcat.

The animal had been strung from the Interstate 88 overpass.

“You suppose you had a foul day?” Noble posted on Fb on Monday, together with graphic photographs. “Guess you didn’t have a hit-a-bobcat-hanging-off-a-bridge-with-your-car sort of dangerous day…..”

He requested anybody who’d seen something amiss between 7:45 and about 8 p.m. that day to move the knowledge on to state troopers.

“Somebody is a sick MF,” he wrote. “My guess is it was roadkill cat that some punk children strung up with paracord and tossed off the overpass.”

Noble was driving his son, 10, again from a wrestling match when the incident occurred, he instructed the Albany Instances-Union. Although glass shards penetrated his 2017 Honda Pilot, he and the boy weren’t injured.

Police confirmed the animal’s identification and mentioned they have been investigating.

“The merchandise has been recognized as a bobcat and is believed to have been deceased previous to the collision with the car,” State Police spokeswoman Trooper Stephanie O’Neil instructed the Instances-Union.
