Lana Del Rey slammed for Cardiff concert after delayed start

After arriving late to a recent concert in Cardiff, UK, Lana Del Rey is receiving outrage online.

After being 20 minutes late to the Principality Stadium stage on Monday, June 24, the American singer, who gained popularity with her 2012 hit “Video Games,” sparked criticism.

Only 15 songs could be performed by the Say Yes To Heaven hitmaker due to the venue’s rigorous 10:30 o’clock curfew.

Many of them, like Norman F***ing Rockwell and Arcadia, were either cut down or swapped out for covers.

Disappointed supporters swiftly vented their frustration on social media.

“I paid £300 (₹31,900) and she gave us 90 minutes with covers and projections,” one person commented.

“I love her, but she looked disinterested,” said another. No vigor, no sense of urgency, and, to be honest, not worth the cost.

The West Coast hitmaker was lauded by several admirers, who said, “She sounded amazing.”

This follows Lana attracting attention after leaving the stage to kiss her husband, Jeremy Dufrene.

The singer stopped in the middle of her performance, “Stars Fell on Alabama,” and approached Dufrene in the audience.

Notably, Lana’s tardiness at concerts has put her in the public eye for a long time.

For those who are unaware, the Cinnamon Girl singer’s 2025 UK and Ireland stadium tour includes appearances in Glasgow, Liverpool, and two nights at Wembley.
