The 39-year-old singer, who became well-known in 2008 after releasing her first album, The Fame, praised her fiancé Michael Polansky for supporting her before the performance.

“Just before I came onstage, my fiancé, Michael, said, ‘When you go out there, let them fill you up.'” The emotional Abracadabra hitmaker remarked during her performance in New York on Friday, August 22.

After introducing the song “Hair” from her second studio album, Born This Way, the Bloody Mary singer said that the album had a “special” place in her heart.

The Shallow hitmaker then recalled a unique statement made by a close friend before to her ideal concert.

Gaga remarked, “I am certain that this album would not have been made without New York, but I am certain that all of my albums could not have been made without New York.” “This is for all of you and for all of your dreams, for maybe just showing up and not fighting anymore.”
