After his urgent meeting at Sandringham House with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, King Charles is scheduled to meet with another important person.

Just two weeks after praising Prince Harry at the Invictus Games closing ceremony, the Queen will now meet with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Trudeau expects that Charles would “discuss matters of importance to Canada and to Canadians” during his Monday meeting with the Canadian Premier.

The request for a meeting follows the King’s personal invitation to US President Donald Trump, which UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer personally addressed to Trump.

Trump received an invitation from King Charles to make a second state visit to his castle in Scotland, Balmoral. Zelensky had an urgent audience with the king following a furious argument with Trump and his vice president, JD Vance, only one day after their meeting.

Zelensky is known to have talked about bringing the peace negotiations back to life. Starmer also met with the leaders of a European peace meeting that took place on Sunday.

It is believed to be the largest summit to be convened in the eight decades since World War II ended.

Trudeau also alluded to his personal meeting with King Charles after the summit, when he will discuss Trump’s threats to Canada’s “sovereignty” and “independence as a nation.”
