Kevin Costner fights back against harassment allegations

Following fresh accusations of sexual harassment against the Hollywood icon, Kevin Costner’s attorney has come out swinging.

Devyn LaBella has filed a lawsuit against Kevin Costner, alleging that during the filming of Horizon Chapter 2 in May 2023, she was abruptly thrust into an unsettling and unanticipated rape scene. She claimed that the moment left her feeling stunned and utterly unprepared, and that it was never addressed or included in the screenplay.

Kevin’s attorney, however, denied the actor’s sexual harassment accusation, claiming it was false and without merit. “Ms. LaBella was rehearsing an Insert Shot for a scripted scene,” the statement says. Nothing sexual or intimate was depicted in the picture. “There was tugging on a dress while she was fully clothed in a dress with long bloomers lying down next to a male actor.”

Additionally, according to Costner’s attorney, LaBella congratulated her boss after leaving the position and described the experience as “wonderful,” which begs the issue of why she is now speaking out. The lawyer went on, Singer added: “Ms. LaBella’s baseless allegations have been refuted by a number of witnesses. “After she finished, she texted her boss to say, ‘Thank you for these amazing weeks.”

“We hope this baseless lawsuit is resolved quickly.”
