Kate Middleton beaming with excitement as she walked out for another royal engagement as news of a significant new shift broke.

The Princess of Wales, who allegedly imposed tighter guidelines for her future visits, smiled as she visited HMP Styal’s Mother and Baby Unit.

On Tuesday, the Palace provided an update on the Princess, including highlights from her stay and a statement accompanying the carousel post.

“A visit to HMP Styal’s Mother and Baby Unit learning about the vital role of strong, loving, and consistent relationships in a child’s early development,” according to the release. “Run by @actionforchildrenuk the unit provides crucial support for new and expectant mothers in prison, helping to strengthen bonds and break cycles of reoffending.”

The Princess of Wales’ statement came after a Kensington Palace spokeswoman confirmed Kate’s position on the new procedure for her future visits as Queen.

Previously, a royal insider told The Sunday Times that Kensington royal will no longer provide Kate’s clothing specifics for engagements.

“There is a strong belief that it [the public work] is not about what the Princess is wearing,” the insider stated. “She wants the focus to be on the really important issues – the people and the causes she is spotlighting.”

However, the spokeswoman noted that the Princess of Wales did not make the statements personally.
