Justin Timberlake had to cancel an upcoming show for The Forget Tomorrow World Tour again.
The “SexyBack” singer revealed the news on his Instagram story on Nov. 30, writing, “I’m so sorry Oklahoma City…I have to cancel the show on 12/2. I hurt my back in NOLA and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer.”
Justin didn’t clarify how the injury occurred or when he’ll officially resume the tour. “Thank you for your support—y’all know I hate doing this,” he said.
The Forget Tomorrow World Tour started in April 2024 and has had its fair share of hiccups. In October, several stops were postponed until 2025 after the singer had laryngitis and bronchitis.
He wrote, “Hey guys – I haven’t been feeling great the last few shows and turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis. I’m so sorry to say I do need to reschedule the next few shows from 10/23 through 11/2.”
Justin also postponed another show in October due to “an injury that is preventing me from performing.”
Before the tour began, Justin had to cancel a one-off solo concert in London in February due to an illness.
Over the summer, Justin was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired in the Hamptons, which he pleaded guilty to in September. He was “sentenced to a $500 fine with a $260 surcharge, 25 hours of community service at a nonprofit of his choosing and a 90-day license suspension.”
The Forget Tomorrow World Tour is supported by Justin’s sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was, a follow-up to his 2018 album Man of the Woods.
Even with postponed and canceled shows, The Forget Tomorrow World Tour is still set to be one of Justin’s biggest. So, hopefully, these few setbacks will not “ruin the tour.”
