With a comfortable bathroom selfie, rather than a press release, Jennifer Lopez may have just revealed some surprising information.
Despite the property being on the market for almost a year, the Unstoppable actress appeared to casually reveal that she is still residing in the $68 million Bel-Air house she formerly shared with her ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck, according to the Daily Mail.
Lopez shared a casual photo from what astute followers quickly identified as the couple’s previous love nest on her Instagram Stories over the weekend.
Her ensemble, which consisted of a beige cable-knit turtleneck sweater underneath acid-washed denim overalls, exuded a warm Sunday atmosphere. Her hair was down, honey-highlighted, and her makeup was neutral and dewy.
She just wrote “SUNDAY” as a stamp on the picture, but what was the true clue? Bel-Air mansion beauty is evident in the flooring’ delicate beige color and the opulent white moldings.
She was at ease and beaming, perhaps taking advantage of some alone time at home after returning from Saudi Arabia, where she had played at the Formula One event.
However, there were other subliminal clues besides the toilet selfie. Another photo included a coffee table with a roaring fireplace and a bouquet of pink flowers, with two chocolate chip cookies on a white dish placed atop a pile of books.
It turns out that the real estate scenario is a little less calm despite the calm environment.
Since it was posted in July 2024, the property, which has 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and a $68 million asking price, has not attracted any attention. And TMZ claims that this has caused a slight breach between the ex-couple.
Affleck, who is supposedly prepared to move on, is all for cutting the cost and starting again.
“Ben wants to get rid of it because their divorce is over and he wants to cut all ties and have it be done,” an insider said. “All he wants is for it to end and be sold. He wishes to lower the cost.
Realtors have also weighed in, stating that if the aim is to really transfer the house, the asking price must be lowered by at least 15%.
The couple may have overpaid in the first place, according to agents who talked to TMZ, and the upscale buyer pool at that price range is now searching for deals.
