Lisa from Blackpink will launch her first collection with MAC Cosmetics. The cosmetics brand revealed on its social media channels on Wednesday that the Thai music sensation will be releasing a makeup line with them soon.
“Lisa designed it.” MAC designed it. Especially for you. Lisa’s first MAC line will be available shortly, and it will include all of her favourite products as well as all-new colours inspired by what she loves the most… “#MACLovesLisa,” the firm wrote on Twitter, alongside an up-close beauty photo of the singer.
MAC has yet to specify what will be featured in the collection or when it will be available. Lalisa Manobal, professionally known as Lisa, has been a global spokesperson for MAC Cosmetics since October 2020. She was the first female K-pop celebrity to be named the company’s face.
“I’ve always been a big MAC fan!” I enjoy how the brand uses makeup to represent oneself, which gives me a lot of confidence on stage. “I am pleased to work with MAC to invite and empower additional audiences because we both value individuality and diversity,” Lisa said in a statement about her new ambassadorship.
“Lisa’s exceptional creativity and bold, fashion-forward style make her the ideal complement for MAC,” said Drew Elliott, senior vice president and global creative director for MAC. “Always confident and never afraid to take chances, she exemplifies our dedication to valuing uniqueness and self-expression above all else.” We can’t wait to see what she has in store for her fans as a result of our cooperation.”
Lisa is best known as a member of the South Korean all-girl group Blackpink, which also includes Ji-soo Kim, Chae-young “Roseanne” Park, and Jennie Kim, better known as Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie, respectively.
Lisa released her first solo album, “Lalisa,” last month. The project was a commercial success, with her music video for “Lalisa” receiving 73.6 million views in the first 24 hours of its release.
She will be the third Blackpink member to release a solo album. Rosé launched her album “R” in March, while Jennie debuted her album “Solo” in November 2018.
Lisa has become more involved in the fashion sector in recent years. Lisa, who has been known to collaborate closely with Celine’s creative director Hedi Slimane since 2019, was named the brand’s worldwide ambassador in September 2020. She will also become the newest Bulgari brand ambassador in July 2020.
