Pakistan has claimed to have “credible intelligence” that India wants to initiate military action, as tensions between the two nations rise.
After 26 people were murdered in an attack in the tourist town of Pahalgam in India-controlled Kashmir on April 22, the neighboring nations retaliated heavily.
India claims to have identified the three assailants, who include two Pakistani nationals. It claims they are “terrorists” who are conducting a violent insurrection against the Muslim majority in Kashmir.
Islamabad has constantly denied any participation in the incident, which was claimed by The Kashmir Resistance, and has asked for a neutral probe.
