The Hyde Park Summertime Fest is slated for June 11th and 12th this year. The most important point, Swain says, is enhancing the pageant expertise with stay performances by artists like Busta Rhymes, Marsha Ambrosius, BJ the Chicago Child, and Lupe Fiasco. DJ performances will embody DJ Jazzy Jeff of “The Contemporary Prince of Bel-Air” fame, Terry Hunter, Jay Illa, Mike P, Mustafa Rocks, and Deejay Alicia. Extra artists will probably be introduced in the coming weeks. Swain mentioned getting the artists on the lineup wasn’t a tricky promotion, as many had heard in regards to the fest.
