(CNN) — Greater than 700 US flights have been canceled on Monday as winter climate bears down on a large swath of the US.
As of 1 p.m. ET, simply over 700 flights inside, into or out of the US had been canceled Monday, in line with flight monitoring website FlightAware. Greater than 2,000 flights had been delayed.
The majority of the cancellations up to now are affecting Dallas Love Discipline and Dallas-Fort Value Worldwide airports in Texas, with about 100 cancellations to or from Denver Worldwide Airport in Colorado.
Dallas-based Southwest Airways had canceled about 330 flights inside, into or out of the US by 1 p.m. ET on Monday.
Regional provider SkyWest had canceled about 125 flights by noon Monday.
Dallas Love Discipline tweeted on Monday that its workforce “stands able to deal with and clear surfaces to permit for secure operations.” DFW can be making ready for unhealthy climate.
Each airports urged vacationers to test with their airways for flight standing earlier than going to the airport.
