Officially leaving the Beverly Hills drama, Garcelle Beauvais isn’t leaving gently. The 58-year-old actress startled both her co-stars and the audience by leaving the set before the customary post-reunion group shot during the third and last segment of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 reunion, which aired on April 15.
Garcelle made all of the fireworks herself, so there was no need for a spectacular farewell song.
She said, “I’m out,” and shook her head. “I’m not. I’m not. While the other Housewives exchanged wide-eyed looks, host Andy Cohen appeared perplexed.
Garcelle ignored the criticism, dismissing it as background noise, as some whispered that her abrupt departure was “unprofessional” and “not cool.”
The gloves—and reportedly the whole dress—came off in her changing room.
“Guys, I will no longer be doing this. As she started to change out of her glitzy outfit, she told the producers, “I don’t want cameras here.” Furthermore, I never claim that I don’t want cameras. I always work well with others. However, there is no team for this.
Then, Garcelle expressed how she felt excluded from the Housewives the entire season.
She claimed that although she made an attempt to accept responsibility, her co-stars did not reciprocate much.
She swore, “They’re all f—— assholes.” “Oh, I see what you’re saying,” no one said. Nobody voiced their opinions, and I was the only one who knew how I felt about [Dorit Kemsley’s] predicament with [her home invasion]…
“I’m finished. As the group shot took place without her, she stated, “I’m done, but it’s been an amazing ride. I’m so grateful for the opportunity.”
Furthermore, this was not only a walk-off in the heat of the moment. In a video posted on Instagram following the release of the reunion teaser on March 25, Garcelle had already alluded at her departure.
She announced, “I have some news: I have made the decision to leave Beverly Hills.” “It’s been a crazy journey, filled with both difficult and incredible events, but it’s been a journey nonetheless.”
Her decision was also heavily influenced by her family. as the mother of three sons: 32-year-old Oliver Saunders and twins, Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas Nilon, all 17 years old.
