Neelam Kothari opens up about snapping at Shalini Passi
Shalini Passi has captivated the audience with her wits, fashion and bubbly persona. However, the OG wife, Neelam Kothari, recently shared her candid reaction to co-star Shalini Passi during a group vacation in Mauritius. Neelam, visibly irritated by the fashionista, snapped at Shalini during a casual drinking session, which led to the fans sensing some brewing tension between the two. In an interview with Filmygyan, Neelam clarified her reaction and shared that a lot is not shown to the viewers. She said:
“Because a lot of what you see hasn’t been shown. We all were having fun, but we were also sitting there, and for a very long time, she was just laughing and laughing.”
Neelam further shared that while she understood Shalini was enjoying herself, the strung-out laughter made it difficult for others to converse. She added that she was tired and wanted to finish the shoot so she could leave, which is why she got irritated by Shalini and snapped at her.
“I just wanted to finish and wrap up and leave. So, I got a little irritated with her and snapped at her.”
Neelam Kothari shares that she did not snap at Shalini Passi out of spite
Neelam Kothari continued and clarified that her reaction wasn’t vengeful. She shared that she is human, and if someone annoys her, she tends to lose her cool. She further acknowledged that her patience ran out in the situation, but it was not because she fostered some negative feelings for Shalini. She said:
“I’m only human. If someone annoys me, I tend to snap, whether it’s with my friends, my child, or anyone else.”
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni spilled wine on Shalini Passi
The season has been a game-changer for Shalini Passi; the audience loves her, and the art collector sometimes even overshadows the other stars. However, she has also been the centre of certain incidents, which stirred discussions about whether the ladies were ganging up on her. In one of the episodes, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni didn’t immediately apologise to Shalini after she accidentally spilled wine on the latter, which did not go unnoticed by the audience. However, in an interview with Zoom, Riddhima clarified that her apology was heartfelt and personal and even claimed that there was no lingering bad blood between the two.
