In a recent interview, Ed Sheeran discussed how his wife, Cherry Seaborn, keeps him rooted in his life despite his popularity.
The Grammy winner talked candidly about managing his life with Cherry, whom he married in 2018 and now has two kids with, on the most recent edition of the Call Her Daddy podcast.
The Shape of You hitmaker declared that “cherry is the biggest grounding force.”
“Like, whenever anything is a little too Hollywood, she’s like, ‘Bro.'” Sheeran went on. Additionally, there is always a Suffolk perspective since I grew up with her.
“I tried to build a bowling alley in our backyard, and she was just like, ‘Come on, man,'” the Photograph singer added. That is not necessary for you.
“She just doesn’t want our children growing up and it being like, you know, the Richie Rich house,” he told Alex Cooper, the host of podcast.
Sheeran talked about how his life altered and his battle with fame in other parts of the conversation.
“It changed everything in my life, including friendships, family, and romantic relationships,” the 34-year-old said.
“Everyone around me changed in their way of treating me, or acting or talking or, like, leaking things,” Sheeran said, adding that he didn’t change.
It’s “really fun to be a pop star for the night and go to the Grammys and sort of be like, ‘Wow, look at everyone,'” the artist added.
But “it’s important to be able to go home and be a regular human being,” Sheeran continued.
