Is it just me or does something as simple as a pretty tablescape make a holiday feel that much more like a special occasion? With Easter just around the corner, I was eager to pull out my pastel colored linens, and floral vases to welcome spring. As a lover of pink, I sometimes have to rein it, especially since our house is so modern. That’s why I like mixing in different textures like these wooden chargers. While the texture is masculine, the scalloped edge still gives it a feminine touch. I also opted for blue striped napkins, instead of pink, so that my table could be more of a pastel color story, unlike the monochromatic pink vibe that I recently did for Galentine’s Day.

Spring is my favorite season for obvious reasons – I’m obsessed with flowers AND the weather (in LA) is still temperate enough that you can wear dainty dresses accompanied by a pretty cardigan. It’s really the best of both worlds. Maybe it’s also because I’m and April baby, and I know that the start of spring means that my birthday is on the horizon and I get to convince my husbandto go on some sort of vacation (Santa Ynez, anyone!?) or day trip with me. Either way, I looking forward to all the freshness and beauty of all that spring has to offer.

Thanks for stopping by!
