Donald Trump threatens to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s US citizenship

Despite a Supreme Court decision that clearly forbids a government from doing so, Donald Trump has stated that he is thinking about “taking away” actress and comedian Rosie O’Donnell’s US citizenship.

“Because Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” the US president said in a post on Truth Social on Saturday.

O’Donnell has relocated to Ireland, and he called her a “threat to humanity” and advised her to “remain in the wonderful country of Ireland, if they want her.”

In response, O’Donnell shared a picture of Mr. Trump with Jeffrey Epstein on Instagram.

“You are everything that is wrong with America and I’m everything you hate about what’s still right with it,” she wrote in the caption.

“I’m not yours to silence. I never was.”

Following Donald Trump’s election to a second term, Rosie O’Donnell relocated to Ireland.

After Mr. Trump was elected to a second term in January, O’Donnell and her 12-year-old son relocated to Ireland.

She stated that she would only return to the US “when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America” and that she is now working on gaining Irish citizenship based on family ancestry.

For years, O’Donnell and the US president have openly criticized one another in a heated back and forth that began before Mr. Trump entered politics.
