Christian Horner, the Red Bull team principal, has been fired.
The 51-year-old, who has been with Red Bull since 2005, is the longest-serving team principal in Formula One. He left the company a year after a female team employee accused him of being overbearing.
Horner, who is wed to Geri, a former Spice Girl, has always refuted the accusations made against him.
“We would like to thank Christian Horner for his exceptional work over the last 20 years,” Red Bull stated in a statement. He has played a key role in making Red Bull Racing one of the most prosperous and alluring teams in Formula 1 because to his unwavering dedication, experience, knowledge, and creative thinking.
