Brad Pitt struggles to keep up with Gwyneth Paltrow’s Hollywood success.

A new biography claims that during their relationship, Brad Pitt was scared by Gwyneth Paltrow’s rising stardom.

According to Amy Odell’s book Gwyneth The Biography, Paltrow frequently confided in makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin about her difficulties with Pitt.

The performer “seemed to feel weird by her success and all the attention she received,” according to sources.

However, Aucoin gave the actress straightforward advise, saying, “You really need to end this.”

When Pitt and Paltrow first met on the set of Se7en in 1994, the actor was already well-known in Hollywood and was immediately enamored with the actress.

The F1 actor said in a 1997 interview that the first time he stood close to her, he became “goofy” and unable to talk.

In his 1996 Golden Globes victory speech, the Ad Astra star openly professed his love for Paltrow, referring to her as “my angel” and “the love of my life.”

Additionally, he intervened when Paltrow revealed that early in her career, she had been sexually assaulted by Harvey Weinstein.

“If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you,” Pitt reportedly threatened the producer, according to Paltrow. Later, she gave him credit for keeping her safe when she “didn’t have fame or power yet.”

After two years of dating, the pair became engaged in December 1996, but regrettably, their relationship soured and they broke up six months later.
