Ryan Reynolds spoke openly about a family custom initiated by his father, which he now follows with his wife and children.

The Deadpool and Wolverine star, who has three girls and one boy with Blake Lively, has said that his youngest daughter is infatuated with the custom.

The 48-year-old talked about going to the Canadian Mint every year to collect coins, which his father established as a tradition.

Ryan told PEOPLE that “every year he sent away to the Canadian Mint, and he would buy the packet of coins.”

“It was probably $15 and it wasn’t very extravagant, but every year, all my brothers, we all have from the year we’re born to the last time he did it.”

The Red Notice actor revealed out about her daughter’s preoccupation with the tradition, describing it as his family’s ‘thing’.

“My youngest daughter, Betty, is little fascinated with it. That is sort of our thing. We actually went to the Canadian Mint, and I felt as if I was accompanying my father, and I do the same. “I get them a box.

“They don’t know. They know, but they don’t care yet. They may do so later.

Reynolds and Lively have been married for twelve years. They still have a very tight relationship after years of marriage.
