BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ is correcting the record over her relationship with Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith.
The K-pop artist completed a lie detector test and answered questions on her song Toxic Till the End and its purported connection to the Karate Kid actor in an interview with Vanity Fair published Thursday, January 16.
The song examines themes of a manipulative ex who was “jealous and possessive” and was included on ROSÉ’s December debut solo album, Rosie. Given that the two had previously been sighted together, fans immediately conjectured that Jaden was the inspiration.
But with a smile, ROSÉ put an end to the rumors. She passed the exam and stated, “No, it’s not about Jaden Smith.” “But he’s a good friend.”
