Chahat Pandey hinted at being engaged to her mysterious boyfriend
While the contestants are giving the show their all to win the trophy of Bigg Boss 18, it is Chahat Pandey who has grabbed the attention of all the viewers. For the unversed, Chahat’s mother earlier made claims that her daughter had never dated anyone. However, Bigg Boss showed some pictures that suggested that Chahat was indeed in a relationship.
Now, in a video from the show, Bigg Boss 18, Chahat Pandey was seen indulging in conversation with Kashish Kapoor, which has caused some controversy. In the conversation, the actress seemed to be talking about her alleged boyfriend. However, she did not take any names or directly admit to it, but when Kashish pointed out if she was admitting to being in a relationship, Chahat did not deny it.
She was also seen pointing at her ring finger, which made the viewers speculate that the actress was not just dating but also engaged. However, this is not the first time a contestant’s personal life has been discussed on TV. In the previous season, Munawar Faruqui’s love life was dragged on the show to a great extent.
Chahat Pandey’s mother claimed her daughter has never dated anyone
Chahat Pandey’s mother appeared on Bigg Boss 18 during the family week. While in the house, Chahat’s mother criticised Avinash Mishra for making nasty comments against her daughter. She claimed that her daughter was and has always been single. She added that Chahat would marry whoever her mother chose for her, and it was unfair of Avinash to make such remarks about the actress. However, Avinash retaliated and said that Chahat already had a boyfriend.
The matter further escalated when the makers showed a photo of Chahat sitting with a cake. The makers of the show suggested that her alleged boyfriend sent the cake and she had been in a relationship for 5 years. The revelation didn’t go unnoticed by Chahat’s mother, who continued to claim that her daughter was single. To prove her trust in that, she announced that she would pay Rs. 21 lakh to anyone who exposed details of her daughter’s secret boyfriend.

Kashish Kapoor reacted to Chahat Pandey’s secret boyfriend
Kashish Kapoor got evicted from the Bigg Boss 18 house, and on January 6, 2025, she sat for a conversation with SCREEN. During the conversation, she criticised the makers for bringing up Chahat’s personal life on the show. She added that it is no one’s business to know what Chahat does in her personal life, and it was wrong of the show to do such a thing. She stated:
“Chahat’s secret relationship is nobody’s concern, it happened outside the show and doesn’t involve any member of the show. I don’t think it was justified, not something I expected would happen on Bigg Boss.”
