It seems like stars are not in the favour of the daily soap, Anupamaa. The serial has been facing one hurdle after the other since its leap. From its cast quitting the show altogether to the title character, Rupali Ganguly, being accused of harassment by her stepdaughter and the death of a cameraman on set, the show has suffered a lot. And it was hardly back on track when the current developments have once again raised eyebrows.
Shivam Khajuria reveals Alisha Parveen is shocked about her exit from Anupamaa
Anupamaa was once the leader of TRP; however, the inconsistent cast changes, internal feuds and several leaps have taken a toll on the show. The show once again gained momentum, and owing to the recent 15-year leap, the news of Alisha Parveen once again caused the show to make headlines for the wrong reason. For those who are not aware, the show introduced Alisha Parveen in the role of grown-up ‘Raahi/Aadhya’ and Shivam Khajuria as the love interest, ‘Prem’. However, the news is now out that Alisha was reportedly replaced.
Recently, Alisha’s co-actor, Shivam Khajuria, revealed that the actress is in absolute shock about her sudden replacement and did not even attend the show’s director’s birthday bash. Shivam shared with Telly Talk India that he tried talking to Ranjan Shahi about Alisha’s exit. However, his statement was misquoted. He added that he even tried talking to the actress, but she was not in the mindset to have a conversation. He stated:
“I actually called Alisha to know about it but did not speak much. She’s in shock, and I didn’t want to trouble her more by asking questions about her exit from the show.”

Shivam Khajuria, in the same conversation, revealed that he, too, is shocked about Alisha Parveen’s sudden departure from Anupamaa. He added that as soon as he got the news, he immediately called the actress, but the latter was not in the headspace to discuss much in detail. For the unversed, Alisha shared a story on her Instagram, sharing that she was also unaware of the development and had no idea why she was replaced. Shivam reflected on his equation with Alisha and said:
“Alisha is a great girl. I share a strong friendship with her.”

If the latest reports are to be believed, Adrija Roy is in the talks to replace Alisha Parveen as ‘Raahi’ in Anupamaa. The Bengali actress is skilled and is alleged to be seen opposite Shivam Khajuria, who is currently playing the role of ‘Prem’ on the show. When asked if Shivam has any idea who his new co-star will be, he stated:
“I have no idea who my new co star will be. I will get to know once I reach the set.”
