On social media, Anne Hathaway has revealed more information about her next film, Verity.
The Princess Diaries alumnus confirmed the movie adaptation’s release date on Instagram on April 7.
The video showed Anne turning the pages of Colleen Hoover’s book of the same name.
The actress from The Intern captioned the photo, saying, “So Be It… that’s a wrap on the #VerityMovie production!”
It’s interesting that Anne disclosed that the upcoming film will be available in theaters on May 15, 2026.
Colleen later reposted Anne’s message as well, captioning it, “And that’s a wrap! Verity will be released in May 2026.
“Thank you to the entire cast, crew, and production teams!” the writer said in appreciation of the actors and crew.

Colleen revealed earlier in May 2024 that Amazon MGM Studios was planning to adapt Verity.
It was revealed by November of that year that Anne would be playing the part of Verity Crawford, the title character.
Josh Hartnett was chosen to play Jeremy Crawford’s spouse in December, while Dakota Johnson was chosen to play writer Lowen.
Brady Wagner and Ismael Cruz Cordóva also appear in the film.
