Recently, Ameesha Patel sat for an interview with Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush. During the same, she was asked if she had been dating Imran Abbas. For the unversed, the speculations began after several mushy photos of Ameesha and Imran made rounds on social media. Talking about the same, Ameesha shared that buzz about her personal life has been going on for several years now, but the wedding never happened.
Ameesha shared that they often bump into one another at special events. She further remarked that when two good-looking people, who are single, get spotted together, speculations about their potential wedding begins. She said that people just start to manifest that two people would get married, and that’s how the buzz begins. In Ameesha’s words:
“This has been going on for the past two or three years. Did any marriage happen? We meet at events, especially functions abroad. We are good friends, nothing more. People just need an opportunity to gossip. If two good-looking people are seen together, rumours start. He’s single, I’m single, and people begin manifesting a wedding that doesn’t exist, leading to these rumours. That’s why they are called rumours.”

Earlier, Ameesha Patel’s dating buzz with a businessman, Nirvaan Birla, made rounds on social media, and it too was caused by the duo’s mushy photo. Well, there was no iota of truth in these murmurs, which was later confirmed by Nirvaan himself. In an interview with the Free Press Journal, Nirvaan said that he and Ameesha are in no way romantically linked, and they have known each other since their childhood. Talking about the viral photo, Nirvaan said that they were in Dubai as his music video features the actress, and there’s nothing more.

This is not the first time that Ameesha Patel’s dating buzz dominated the headlines.
