Alexandra Grant and Keanu Reeves appear to make every effort to maintain their romance.
The 60-year-old Matrix star recently talked about his relationship with artist Alexandra Grant, his longstanding partner, and shared the straightforward yet significant secrets of their enduring connection.
“Sharing, communicating, you know, supporting,” Reeves responded to a question on Monday about the key to their seven-year romance on E! News.
Long before flames ignited, Reeves and Grant, 51, met at a dinner gathering in 2009. Early on, their relationship was based on art; Keanu wrote poems for Grant’s books Shadows (2016) and Ode to Happiness (2011).
A year later, their friendship turned into a love partnership, and by 2017, they had co-founded the publishing company X Artists’ Books.
Indeed, there have been motorcycle rides, but maybe not as many as one might anticipate from the ARCH Motorcycle co-founder.
“We have been on a couple of trips together on the motorcycle and we have enjoyed it,” Reeves said. “We haven’t done it again since. ‘I’m never going to ride with you again because you’re insane,’ however, isn’t said.
Keanu was ready to speculate that Grant could be the quicker rider when questioned. “I would imagine, yeah.”
Following Grant’s discussion of their relationship, the actor told People, “The main thing is that people are happy for us.”
Even though Keanu had previously been involved in high-profile romances, such as those with Charlize Theron and Sofia Coppola, his romance with Grant is still one of the most cherished in Hollywood.
Reeves maintains a hectic work life in addition to his personal life. He co-executive produces and co-hosts the forthcoming docuseries Visionaries with Gard Hollinger, which will debut on the Roku Channel on March 7.
