Finally, Adam Levine is ending the suffering of Maroon 5 fans.
The Maroon 5 vocalist recently acknowledged that new music is really on the way during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“I will verify that the rumors are accurate,” Levine, 46, said to host Fallon. There is truth to the rumors. There are specifics. I can’t give away every detail.
He only had enough information to get people excited.
“A single is coming around the end of the month,” he hinted. Over the summer, an album will be released. Generally speaking, throughout the summer. Additionally, there will be a tour in the fall, which is even less definite.
The forthcoming album will be the group’s first since Jordi in 2021. It comes after a year of performing live, which included a stint on the East Coast and a residency in Las Vegas that ended in October of last year.
As a coach on Season 27 of The Voice, Levine has also gone back to his origins.
He explained why he thought this was the ideal moment to return in an interview with People magazine before to the debut. “We started talking about it and it felt right—something that hadn’t felt right until now,” he remarked.
