Abhishek Bachchan Reacts To Reports Of His Divorce From Aishwarya Rai, ‘I Think You All Have…’

Often hailed as Bollywood’s ideal couple, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are reportedly having some issues in their marriage. In 2007, Aishwarya broke millions of hearts and added Bachchan to her surname by tying the knot with Abhishek. The couple hopped on to parenthood in 2011, welcomed a baby girl, and named her Aaradhya Bachchan.

However, for past some time, there have been many reports of Aishwarya and Abhishek’s marriage hitting rock bottom. It was also speculated that the couple is not even living together anymore. As per multiple reports, the actress’s soured relationship with Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan is another reason behind tension in the Bachchan clan.

Abhishek Bachchan reacted to his divorce rumours from Aishwarya Rai

Amid the ongoing reports, an old video of Abhishek is doing rounds where the actor was asked about his and Aishwarya’s separation rumours. Taking it with a pinch of salt, Abhishek reacted to the reports and said:

“I don’t have anything to say to you all about that. You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. I understand, why you do it. You have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it. Still married, sorry.”

Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur’s affair speculations

Amid Aishwarya and Abhishek’s separation buzz, it is also rumoured that the actor cheated on Aishwarya Rai with his Dasvi co-star, Nimrat Kaur. During one of Dasvi’s promotional events, when the host congratulated Abhishek on his long-standing marriage with Aishwarya Rai, Nimrat quipped in and made a sarcastic comment. The actress suddenly said:

“Marriage don’t last that long.”

Instances which added to Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s divorce speculations

Many past instances have added fuel to the rumours of Abhishek and Aishwarya’s split. The Bachchan bahu often makes appearances without the Bachchan clan. Even during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, the Bachchans came together with their son, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. On the other hand, Aishwarya came moments later along with her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.

When Aishwarya Rai turned 50 on November 1, 2023, her fans poured in heartfelt wishes worldwide. She celebrated the day at the hospital’s opening with her mother, Brinda Rai, and her daughter, Aradhya Bachchan. But neither Abhishek Bachchan nor the Bachchan clan was present at Aishwarya’s 50th birthday bash, which again raised many eyebrows.

Amid Aishwarya and Abhishek’s separation rumours, netizens shared a screenshot of Amitabh Bachchan’s following list on Instagram. However, what shocked everyone was that Amitabh Bachchan’s Insta following doesn’t include his bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It is worth mentioning that Big B follows Ananya Panday on social media, among other actresses, but not his own daughter-in-law. Not just this, but even Shweta Bachchan doesn’t follow Aishwarya on social media.

Aishwarya Rai is reportedly living separately with her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan

Earlier, a report by Times Now claimed that Aishwarya and Abhishek have been facing many issues in their married life for ages, but they chose to stick together considering the well-being of their daughter, Aaradhya. There’s no denying that such news sent shockwaves to Aishwarya and Abhishek’s fans. The report also added that Aishwarya hasn’t been on talking terms with her mother-in-law, Jaya. As per a close source, Aishwarya lives in a separate section in Jalsa with her hubby and daughter.
